The authorities finally decided to move the director Roman Polanski from a prison in the Zurich area into an undisclosed location. The news mentions, the director stumbled against child sexual abuse cases under the age of the 1977’s, moved to a house in the Alps, Switzerland.
The transfer was conducted by the authorities on Thursday (3 / 12). “The transfer was based on security issues and protection of person,” said Folco Galli, a spokesman for the justice ministry.
However, when asked the location of the arrest 76-year-old director was, now, Galli declined to answer. Told AP news agency, Galli said that until Friday afternoon Polanski still going to be in a villa in Gstaad mountainous area with security surveillance.
“In principle it would not change anything,” said Galli. “He still will be moved tomorrow (Friday).” (more…)

Movie director Roman Polanski will solve most recent movie THE GHOST from behind bars in Switzerland, as revealed close friend who is also the film’s screenwriter, Robert Harris, as quoted by media reports on Thursday (15/10).
Polanski was arrested on September 26 and because the case happened in 1977 that accused him of involvement in the rape of a girl aged 13 years, when it arrives in Zurich to accept an award from a film festival.
Harris said that Polanski wanted to finish the film in time for the launch scheduled for delivery at the Berlin film festival, in February.
“He (Polanski, red) can convey wishes of his cell. I think he could not call, but can communicate,” said Harris told the media as-OANA Xinhuanet reported. (more…)

Famous film director Roman Polanski was arrested in Switzerland on U.S. warrant a 31-year-old. It was announced Zurich Film Festival organizers said in a statement on Sunday (27/9).
Polanski’s arrest on Saturday night made in connection with an arrest warrant issued by the U.S. government in 1978 because he was having sex with minors.
Director of the film was initially scheduled to receive awards for a lifetime’s work on the Film Festival, Sunday night.
“Roman Polanski, one of the greatest film directors of our time, should receive the prize for lifetime achievement at the Zurich Film Festival,” including the contents of this statement reported by Reuters. “However, he was arrested by police when he entered the Zurich Airport. Detention related to the demand by the U.S. government based on an arrest warrant for him issued in 1978,” he said. (more…)
